There are lot of qualities that can create a great individual in the workplace, outside the workplace, at school, at home, and in other areas of life.
One quality that is mighty important to me, one that stands out, especially when assessing people in your team, when assessing your colleagues, when you want to build a formidable force, is EFFORT.
EFFORT can be broken down, expressed, and explained in many different ways. Effort means a lot to me, effort communicates something to me, effort never lies, and effort in most cases gives me the answers that I need. The best thing about effort is that it is satisfying. Whether the result goes my way or not, I feel a sense of having achieved something because of the effort that I put in.
Effort motivates you, it gives you the fire in the belly to do more, to do better. The question you probably have is, how do you know you are putting in enough effort? You always know. You know when your effort is lackluster, and you know when your effort is vigorous and purposeful.
All in all, there are different ways in which we can dissect EFFORT. However, let's encourage effort amongst our peers, colleagues, team members, in our organizations, and in our different spheres of life. I trust that you will also put in effort in all that you take on this week, in this month, and moving forward. Let's toughen up mentally, be honest with ourselves when we know we aren't putting in enough effort, and let's invest in effort, and smash all our goals and objectives.
