Sales Representative - Safety Protection Gear
Our client seeks to employ a Sales Representative to service the Gauteng region selling Bullet vests and protective clothing to security companies and similar sales all across the Gauteng region
Main Duties:
• Accountability for client growth and proactively increasing turnover through own existing client base as well as new clients
• Securing profitable new business.
• Attending to potential clients in different areas of responsibility
• Addressing and resolving client's queries promptly and satisfactorily.
• Preparing and presenting complex proposals.
• Ensuring that quotations are submitted timeously to clients.
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients
• Planning, budgeting, co-ordinating and attending to client's requirements.
• Driving all marketing related issues with respect to the business, including coordination and management of marketing material preparation, digital advertising campaigns, etc
• Compiling and submitting weekly and monthly management reports.
• Acquiring thorough in-depth trade and competitor knowledge
• Identify and develop sales opportunities, incorporating extensive cold calling activities, in order to maximize growth within a specific market
• Submits orders and quotes by referring to price lists and product information and codes. Provide direct customer services by informing them of products and services; explain products' value and capabilities to customers.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Market research and pricing analysis
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in external and internal sales
• Safety Protective Clothing sales experience
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
• Grade 12 and related tertiary in Sales and Marketing
• Stable track record
• ITC / Crim Clear
• Computer Literate (MS Office, advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
• Professional and well presented at all times
