We are recruiting for a Contracts Manager – Roads based in Gauteng, available to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will manage and oversee road construction projects from commencement through to completion, with responsibility for contractual, commercial, operational, programme, quality and financial performance, while managing project teams, subcontractors, clients and key stakeholders.

Candidates should have 10+ years’ experience within the civil construction industry, including at least 5 years in a Contracts Manager or senior construction management role, with extensive experience in road construction and rehabilitation projects. A BSc in Civil Engineering / Construction Management is preferred, with a BTech in Civil Engineering / Construction Management considered. Professional registration with SACPCMP as a Pr.CM and/or ECSA is advantageous.

The successful candidate will support operational activities across new store development, warehouse operations, logistics and retail stores, with a focus on problem-solving, process improvement, coordination and operational efficiency.

We are looking for a young, ambitious and high-potential individual who is solution-driven and eager to build a long-term career within operations. Matric / Grade 12 is essential, while a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous. Previous exposure to operations, retail, warehousing, logistics or project coordination is advantageous, but specific operations management experience is not essential.

We are recruiting for an Estimator based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, available to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will prepare competitive estimates and tenders for predominantly civil engineering projects, including quantity take-offs, rate build-ups, supplier and subcontractor quotations, tender risk assessments and submissions.

Candidates should have 5–8 years’ estimating experience, with approximately 80% Civils and 20% Building exposure. A BSc / BTech / National Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related qualification is essential. CCS Candy is essential, with BuildSmart advantageous.

The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate concrete-related construction activities on site, including formwork, reinforcing steel, concrete pouring, finishing and curing, while managing labour teams and subcontractors and ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality, programme and safety requirements.

Candidates should have 5–10 years’ experience as a Concrete Foreman or in a supervisory construction role, with proven experience in large-scale concrete structures and civil works. A Grade 12 is required, while a Trade Qualification or National Diploma / BTech in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred. Strong knowledge of formwork, reinforcing steel, concrete pouring methods and finishing techniques is essential.

We are recruiting for a Human Resource Manager / Executive based in Gauteng, available to start as soon as possible. This is a senior-level opportunity within an established civils, roads and earthworks contractor operating as part of a large construction group. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational HR leadership, align people strategy with business objectives, oversee the full HR function, manage employee relations and workforce planning, ensure labour compliance, and support organisational development and performance.

The successful candidate will have 10–15 years’ progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR management or executive role, together with a relevant HR Degree. A postgraduate HR or Business qualification will be advantageous. Experience within manufacturing and/or construction is essential, with exposure to labour-intensive, multi-site or project-based environments strongly preferred. Strong experience in employee relations, labour legislation, workforce planning, organisational development and senior stakeholder engagement is required.
