🧹Cleaner / Housekeeper
📍Location: Remote farm outside Montagu, Western Cape
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner / Housekeeper to join our team on a remote guest farm outside Montagu. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high cleaning standards, enjoys working in a peaceful natural environment, and is comfortable living away from town.
⭐️Key Responsibilities
* Perform daily housekeeping of guest accommodation and shared areas to an exceptional standard.
* Complete morning cleaning and evening turndown service during guest stays.
* Prepare and serve breakfast for guests.
* Wash, dry, iron, fold, and organise guest and household laundry.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage areas, linen rooms, and housekeeping supplies.
* Monitor housekeeping stock and report items that require replenishment.
* Assist with general duties around the farm as required.
* Ensure all work is completed efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
* Follow all hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
⭐️Minimum Requirements
* Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is essential. Experience in hospitality or guest accommodation is highly advantageous.
* A valid driver’s licence is essential.
* Must be confident and comfortable driving on gravel roads.
* A good understanding of professional cleaning practices and attention to detail before training begins.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Friendly, trustworthy, and professional with a positive attitude.
* Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
* Comfortable living and working in a remote, off-grid environment away from town.
