Job Title - Senior PHP Developer
Level - Team Leader
Salary - R 40 000.00pm plus Perks and Benefits

Working hrs - Monday – Thursday Flexi hours (Friday 15h00)
Short version:
We are looking for a PHP developer who is versatile and keen to get the job done in accordance with best practices. We are a web and mobile development house so there is always room to learn and grow within the company.
Requirements
Four or more years related work experience
Efficient using MVC's like YII, cakePHP, Zend Framework, etc.
Experience with Doctine persistence layer
Solid experience using code repositories such as subversion/git
XTHML/CSS and JavaScript skills
Experience using Html5/CSS3/JQuery
Longer version:
We are seeking a highly focused web developer with great PHP skills that can help us develop and maintain web applications for our clients.
Requirements
• PHP is your programming language of choice (4+ years commercial experience required), and you have solid experience with frameworks like YII, cakePHP, Zend Framework, etc. and the Doctrine persistence layer
• You’re comfortable working with relational databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL preferred).
• You have a solid experience with Html5/CSS3/JQuery techniques to create great web apps.
• You're experienced working with Source control systems such as mercurial, git and even Subversion. More importantly you know when to use which one and for which purposes. You also know how to use GitHub and Gerrit.
• You aspire to join an experienced team where you can participate in solid development practices including testing and documentation and where opportunities exist to learn new languages and technologies.
• You’re comfortable translating functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs.
• You can provide estimates for development effort. You can Implement proof of concept, prototypes and production-grade software.
• You can create unit and acceptance tests.
• You can coordinate with the Quality Assurance team.
• You are not at all afraid to try out new things and learn new technologies; always striving to be better at each iteration.
