Hiring - Sonographer - JHB
Key responsibilities:
Performing ultrasounds in abdominal and pelvic, musculoskeletal, small parts, vascular, cranial/neonatal/paediatric, 1st trimester pregnancy, interventional procedures etc.
Requirements:
Formal Ultrasound qualification
HPCSA Registration
Excellent patient care and passion for ultrasound
Able to work Mon – Friday 8h00 -17h00, 8h30 – 17h30 pm & 9h00 – 18h00 pm plus one Saturday morning every month from 9h00 – 13h00 (with an option of ½ off / payment for these hours)
Flexible regarding working hours when needed
A valid driver’s license with own reliable transport

Voluntary Overtime Available:
Saturday Afternoon: 5-hour shift
Sunday: 12-hour shift
Night Call: 12- hour shift Friday to Thursday
Public Holiday Day Call: 12-hour shift
Please note: you will be required to assist with call and overtime from time to time should we experience staff shortages (if there are less than 6 sonographers participating in the night call and less than 8 participating in weekend overtime shifts.) You will then be required to work one call shift every 6 weeks and a weekend overtime shift once every month.
