NUHORIZON – RECEPTIONIST VACANCY
1x Junior Receptionist (6-Month Fixed Term Contract)
Young, dynamic professional required for front-of-house role.
Nuhorizon specialises in the recruitment of internationally based staff and seeks a proactive, young individual to manage reception and maintain seamless communication between visitors and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Professionally greet visitors, determine purpose of visit, and direct accordingly
Answer and route incoming calls efficiently via multi-line switchboard
Offer basic refreshments to visitors and staff when appropriate
Collect, sort, and distribute mail, messages, and courier deliveries
Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and issue timely reminders
Draft basic memos, notices, and standard office documents
Resolve complaints constructively and uphold company standards
Perform clerical tasks including filing, photocopying, and document compilation
Support Nuhorizon’s Mission, Vision, and core values
Requirements:
Fluency in English and Afrikaans
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional, courteous demeanour
Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
Competent use of office equipment (switchboard, printers, photocopiers)
Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to a flexible schedule
Contract Details:
6-month fixed-term contract
45 hours per week | Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Salary negotiable based on skills and experience
