If there is one thing i have learnt in life, marriage, parenting and now business….its to bite off more than you can chew.

Even starting this blog, is me doing exactly that.

I have no idea where I'm going to find the time or energy to blog daily, weekly or how often will be required? How on earth am i going to find the balance between family, business and school to do this?

All i know, is that this epic journey I've started, just over a year ago, is meant to be shared, meant to be followed, meant to guide and inspire every single person

out there who is still contemplating on whether they should even take “the bite”

Enter Cecile Andrews.

Happily married mother of 3. Contact centre, telemarketing, sales, training coaching

and mentoring background….with a dream.

When i was in my early twenties at the top of my telemarketing sales game, i used to very arrogantly say: i wish i got bottle this up (referring to my personality, charm, persuasiveness, enthusiasm, sarcastic wit and outright arrogance).trust me, i was full of it. Over a decade later…my wish remains the some, but my motivation has changed ..360 degrees.

Maslows hierarchy says that we come to a point where we reach self actualization, mind you this is the step right after the ego stage. (been there, done that, got the t-shirt, sold it and made a profit!)

So, here on out my motivation is to share, encourage, inspire, challenge, shock, shake up and truly make an impact on the lives of those wondering whether they should take the bite at all.

I was at a crossroads in my life. My manager told me that I had reached the ceiling of my earning potential. Essentially telling me that unless i get a promotion (which was never going to happen, as that would be her job!), i will be earning the same, for as long as i stay there…and at the time i had already been there for 10 years.

Two months later i found out i was pregnant with my 3 third child. My husband was utterly unhappy where he was and wanted to make a change. We had to decide……

My dream has always been to run my own training and recruitment consultancy in this industry that i have come to love. Transferring knowledge and skills that will enable others to eek out a living for them, to help others find employment to increase the living standard, fund their studies or simply to take care of their family financially.

I knew i was good at what i did, but it tuns out im even better at teaching people how to do it.That deserves to be bottled right? So we did it…we bit of more than we could chew.

My husband gave up his job to support me in my dream, sold the car, took out a 2nd mortgage on the house and had another baby. I started working from home while on maternity leave. As a freelance recruiter i was doing telephonic interviews, placing candidates , while breastfeeding my daughter.My husband would babysit while i went to meetings and appointments.

By the grace of God, i met my current mentors and investors.i’ll introduce you to them at a later stage, once i can convince them to be named. They opened up their hearts and even office space to me.

3 D Clarity is the embodiment of my experience and passion…..i have not looked back since.

Good day family.

Please take note that MyCalling for Merchants is hosting open days twice a week, every week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 12pm. The venue for the open days is the Rex Trueform building located on Salt River Main Road. They are always in search of experienced candidates, but currently, they are recruiting inexperienced candidates with matric for learnerships.
