About the Role:

· To assume the overall responsibility for the Management of the transport contract by fully accepting responsibility for the Company Policy and Procedures, HSEQ and Oil Company compliance.

· Contract & Performance Management: Ensure full compliance with transport contracts, deliver on customer KPIs, and drive operational excellence through fleet optimization, cost control, and productivity improvements.

· Operational Efficiency: Oversee day-to-day transport operations to ensure effective resource utilization, consistent service delivery, and continuous improvement in performance and cost management.

· Team Leadership & Development: Build and manage a high-performing team through strong leadership, training, performance management, recruitment, and employee engagement initiatives.

· Compliance, Safety & Risk (SHERQ): Maintain strict adherence to safety, legal, and compliance standards, lead incident investigations, and promote a strong safety culture across operations.

· Financial & Administrative Control: Manage purchasing and supplier payments, ensure accurate financial processes, and maintain administrative compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.



Requirements:

· Grade 12 (essential)

· Relevant tertiary qualification i.e. Diploma in Management

· 5 years’ experience in a similar managerial role within hazardous products within logistics

· Fuel and transport sector experiene essential

· Five years bulk transport experience with three years oil experience

We're seeking an experienced Driver Trainer to teach and assess driving skills to new drivers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle operation and logistics procedures. This role requires strong organizational and communications skill, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Train drivers on company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

· Conduct on-the-job training and assessments for new drivers

· Provide coaching and feedback to improve driver performance and compliance

· Develop and deliver training programs to meet industry standards

· Monitor driver performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Familiarity with logistics operations
Understanding of transport regulations (e.g., hours of service, load securement)

Minimum Requirements:

· A Minimum of 2 years’ Driver Training experience (essential)

· Grade 11(essential)

· Experience in Dry Bulk / Petro Chemical Training (advantageous)

· Vocational training certification (e.g., LGV/PSV)

· Teta Accredited essential

· Experience in logistics or transportation industry essential

· Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and industry standards

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Code 14 valid driver's license essential

· Ability to adapt training to meet individual driver needs

· PC Literacy
