World Retina Day

World Retina Day is held on the last Sunday in September, falling on the 28th this year.

Did you know that over 100 million people worldwide have retinal diseases, a leading cause of blindness? The retina is a very thin layer of the eye that has an essential function in vision.

The annual observance aims to inform individuals on ways to look after their eyes.
