Electrical Design Engineer - United Kingdom
Type of Position: Permanent position
Company based in the UK is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer who would like to join their team.
The successful candidate will be proficient, detailed orientated, results driven, skilled Electrical Design Engineer. You will be an integral part of the team whose enthusiasm for high quality design will help the business successfully deliver all itsโ LV and HV projects - ranging from small single connections to complex network enhancement programmes and commercial renewable installations. In addition, you will form part of the team which carries out compliance checks on technical submissions on behalf of our clients.
Salary:
ยฃ45,000 - ยฃ50,000 per Annum
Bonus:
Upon successful completion of probation
Vehicle:
Branded company commercial vehicle.
Annual Leave:
23 days plus recognised public holidays.
Pension:
In line with statutory requirements.
Working Hours
5 days per week
(Mon โ Fri: 08:30 โ 17:00)
During peak periods, flexibility will be required.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
>Minimum of 5 years verifiable experience
>Knowledge of concepts, principles, and theories of electrical engineering
>Degree/HNC in Electrical Engineering
>Comprehensive understanding of Earthing principles and the design of earthing systems
>Experience of working alongside DNOs and IDNOs
>Working knowledge of design tools and office systems
>Understanding of CDM regulations and our responsibilities therein
>AutoCAD and knowledge of CAD drafting standards
>Familiarity with various electrical modelling software such as SKM, ETAP (protective relay coordination software), WinDEBUT, PSS SINCAL, IPSA, CRATER, CDEGS โ strong advantage.
