Dear Jobseekers....

The Advantage of Applying Early for jobs.

Applying early can be the difference between getting interviewed… or getting ignored.

Many job seekers wait until the closing date to apply.

That’s a silent mistake.

Think about it this way 👇🏽

1. If 100 people have already applied, and you were the recruiter, would you:
2. Wait for the closing date before shortlisting?
Or start reviewing strong CVs immediately?
3. Most companies do not wait.

Here’s what actually happens:

✔️ CVs are screened as they come in
✔️ Strong candidates are shortlisted early
✔️ Interviews start before the advert closes
✔️ Once enough suitable candidates are found, the system may be closed
✔️ Late applications get automatic rejections, get ghosted — no rejection, no feedback

By the time you submit a last-minute application,

someone is already preparing for an interview.

Rule of thumb:

If you see a role today and you qualify — apply today.

Early applications =
📌 Less competition
📌 Higher visibility
📌 Better odds of being shortlisted

WHAT KIND OF A JOB ARE YOU LOOKING FOR ?

Candidate: "Any job"
Me: Can you build a house?"
Candidate : "No"
Me: "Can you paint a roof?"
Candidate: "No"
Me: "Can you do plumbing"
Candidate: "No"
Me: "Can you represent anyone in court?"
Candidate: "No"

Those are examples of "Any job"

Please avoid these words "Any job" when looking for a job.

Yes, you are desperate for a job but you can't do any job.

● At least have top 5 jobs that you know that you can do.
● This will help you focus on the jobs you have skills for.
● It will help you narrow your search to avoid being all over and applying for any positions where you don't get shortlisted. - This will lead to depression.
