I’m back after taking a year off for my soul.

One year ago I lost my mother to cancer. I just knew that I would need to step away from my work for a year. It was as if God whispered the timeline into my heart.

I had been going back and forth from hospice for 4 months, we had sold the family farm and bought a home that needed a lot of renovation. Looking ahead at the work needed on our new home, moving my dad into our previous home and moving us across, I knew that I wouldn’t be able to do it all. It was an incredibly overwhelming and exhausting time, to say the least. I did, however, still serve and volunteer in places that fed my soul.

So, I took the year to grieve, recoup and regain my inner strength. My soul needed it and the Lord was faithful to gently bring me to healing and balance. The only way I could do it fully was to rest in God; in all the busyness.

My year is up and I’m ready to pick up my training and coaching and am looking forward to helping others grow, or rest ,or heal. Mostly, im looking forward to pressing into to the person that God created me to be.
