On April 22–23, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Kosovo participated in the Education Fair (EDU Fair 2026) held at the 1 Tetori Hall – one of the leading education events in Kosovo.

At our stand, we proudly presented Austria 🇦🇹 as an excellent destination for higher education and career opportunities. Visitors had the chance to explore study programs and learn more about renowned Austrian institutions, including:

🇦🇹 ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Kosovo was represented by our Head of Office, Vjosa Huruglica Vranovci, in the “Start UP” program on Radio Television 21, together with representatives of the German, Slovenian, and Nordic Chambers of Commerce.
The discussion focused on the perspectives of foreign businesses on investing in Kosovo.
Ms. Huruglica Vranovci emphasized that Austria has been one of the earliest and most active investors in Kosovo, with Austrian companies contributing significantly to infrastructure development, job creation, and economic growth.
She highlighted that Austrian companies continue to show strong interest in Kosovo, especially in IT, digitalization, and infrastructure, and that ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA remains committed to fostering business partnerships between Austria and Kosovo.

🌟 Prishtina took place on April 2-3, bringing together experts from Austria 🇦🇹 and Kosovo 🇽🇰 to discuss digital transformation, cybersecurity, AI, and the future of e-Government. It was inspiring to see representatives from the public and private sectors, as well as academia exchanging insights and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

🚀 Our journey began with insightful visits to UBT - Higher Education Institution and FIEK - Fakulteti i Inxhinierisë Elektrike dhe Kompjuterike where we engaged with students, researchers, and faculty shaping the future of ICT.

🎤 The official opening on April 3rd was honored by the presence of Getoar Mjeku, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Kosovo, and Austrian Ambassador Georg Schnetzer.

🤝 On the evening of April 2nd, we hosted a Networking Event – Austrian Business Circle, supported by the Austrian Embassy Pristina.This gathering brought together Austrian and Kosovar business leaders, experts, and institutional representatives for meaningful discussions and new connections.
