Japanese GD in Vietnam ask MNB this a lot now

“I need a company VNeID to apply for a TRC.
I need a personal VNeID to get the company VNeID.
I need a TRC to get a personal VNeID. So… how do I start?”

This is a real loop in 2026. Not a rumor.

The good news also.
this contradiction should ease in the near future. From 28 September 2026, the rules for foreigners getting VNeID are due to change.

Even without a TRC, you may get VNeID??【320/2026/NDCP】

A new amendment says this.

From 28 September 2026, the rule for foreigners no longer says “you must already have a TRC.”
If you entered Vietnam legally, you may apply for VNeID if you want it. That is what the article says.

It does not say you can use that VNeID to apply for a work permit.
What opened is who can get VNeID.

Please share this not only with local HR/admin, but also with your Japanese president and Japanese managers. It matters for new arrivals and legal representatives.

“Nhân bất học, bất tri lý” – người không học thì khó hiểu được đạo lý, lẽ phải.

Đặc biệt trong bối cảnh hiện nay, khi chuẩn mực thay đổi, chính sách thuế thay đổi, pháp luật thay đổi và thực tiễn kinh doanh cũng không ngừng xuất hiện những tình huống mới.
