A dedicated Houston export operation is hiring CDL-A drivers to move loaded containers from industrial shippers and chemical-area facilities to Port Houston marine terminals before vessel cutoffs.
This is outbound export freight β not traditional import drayage.

The account focuses on loaded export containers generated by Houston-area industrial shippers.
Typical freight includes:

Your job is to keep those containers moving from shipper facilities to the correct marine terminal before vessel cutoff times.

Most work stays within the Houston Ship Channel / Port Houston industrial corridor.
π WHAT YOU'LL DO
β’ Pick up loaded export containers from customer facilities
β’ Deliver containers to Port Houston terminals
β’ Handle chassis exchanges and empty repositioning
β’ Complete terminal gate transactions
β’ Verify container, seal and load information
β’ Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
β’ Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery records
β’ Communicate with dispatch when terminals or customers are delayed
Drivers generally handle multiple local moves during the shift, with the exact workload changing based on customer production and terminal receiving windows.
β οΈ REAL-WORLD PORT CONDITIONS
Port work isn't always perfectly predictable.
Terminal queues, customer loading delays, vessel receiving windows and Gulf Coast weather can change the order of your moves. Export freight also comes with firm cutoff times, so timing, documentation and safe chassis handling matter every day.
π REQUIREMENTS
βοΈ Valid CDL-A
βοΈ 6+ months recent tractor-trailer experience preferred
βοΈ Acceptable MVR
βοΈ Ability to safely back and maneuver chassis
βοΈ DOT drug screen & physical
βοΈ Clearinghouse/background review
βοΈ Knowledge of FMCSA Hours-of-Service
βοΈ Ability to work safely around busy marine terminals
