🚛 WHAT YOU’LL DO

Transfer loaded and empty trailers between warehouse facilities

Complete drop-and-hook swaps and occasional live dock assignments

Verify trailer numbers, seals, and dispatch instructions

Follow warehouse gate procedures and appointment windows

Coordinate trailer availability and schedule changes with dispatch

Perform safe coupling, uncoupling, and pre-trip and post-trip inspections

🚚 EQUIPMENT

Freightliner Cascadia day cabs, primarily 2021–2024

Kenworth T680 day cabs, primarily 2020–2023

53-ft dry-van trailers

Manual and automated manual transmissions; automatic units may be available

ELD-equipped tractors with electronic communication systems

Modern safety features on many units, including collision mitigation and lane-departure warning

💵 PAY & SCHEDULE

Base rate: $28.50 per hour

Overtime at 1.5× after 40 hours

Typical weekly gross: $1,350–$1,550

Typical shifts: 45–50 hours per week

Start times generally between 4:00–8:00 AM

Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional weekend coverage

Local and short-haul transfers generally within 50–150 loaded miles of Orlando, depending on assignments

Regular routes toward Lakeland, Davenport, Sanford, Kissimmee, and surrounding Central Florida facilities

📋 REQUIREMENTS

Valid U.S. CDL-A

Six months of recent CDL-A experience preferred

Qualified recent CDL graduates may be considered, depending on carrier requirements

Acceptable MVR and verifiable employment history

Meet DOT physical, drug and alcohol testing, and FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements

Ability to maneuver tractor-trailers in warehouse yards and tight customer locations

Comfortable with frequent coupling and uncoupling, ELD use, and warehouse gate procedures

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and communicate with dispatch

Start times generally between 6:00–8:00 AM

Approximately 8–14 customer stops per day

Local routes throughout Denver, Aurora, Centennial, Thornton, Commerce City, Lakewood, and surrounding Front Range communities

📋 REQUIREMENTS

Valid U.S. CDL-A

At least 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience

Acceptable MVR and safety history

Meet DOT physical, drug and alcohol testing, and Clearinghouse requirements

Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain

Ability to operate a pallet jack and handle multi-stop delivery work in varying Colorado weather
