Bright Futures Frederick/Winchester

Bright Futures Frederick/Winchester A non-profit dedicated to bringing our community together to focus on the success of children.

Bright Futures provides a path for communities to engage everyone in a collective movement to develop relationships and channel resources supporting education and enabling children to achieve success. Bright Futures-Frederick/Winchester works within Frederick County and Winchester City Public Schools to connect student needs with existing community resources. The Bright Futures model brings togeth

er businesses, human service agencies, faith-based organizations, and parent groups and partners them with schools in a way that helps them to quickly and efficiently meet students’ basic needs – often within 24 hours. This enables students and teachers to focus on education and achieving success. Bright Futures-Frederick/Winchester works to create an environment where education is valued and responsibility for student success is shared. Bright Futures operates under the belief that when a community invests its time, talent, and treasure into its schools, students are more likely to stay in school through graduation, have a higher degree of self-worth and confidence, and set and reach goals for the future. In turn, these students grow up to be better neighbors, quality employees, and leaders in their communities. Frederick County Public Schools Social Media Terms and Conditions

The purpose of the Frederick County Public Schools (“FCPS”) official social media platforms is to provide information about our schools and public education generally in a timely and efficient manner. Please note that official FCPS social media pages may not be regularly monitored and FCPS encourages anyone with specific questions or concerns involving a school matter to contact their school principal or the Director of Media and Communications (“Director”). Public comments expressed on FCPS social media pages do not reflect the opinions and position of the Frederick County School Board, FCPS, and its schools, officers and employees. Comment Removal

Continued or egregious violations may prompt FCPS to further restrict an individual’s commenting on official FCPS social media platforms. FCPS will not remove content simply because it disagrees with the user’s viewpoint or the user criticizes FCPS. Comment Removal Procedure
The FCPS social media platforms are administered by designated staff. Our mission in action! Thank you, Jordan Springs Elementary PTO, for partnering with Bright Futures to help provide and install two new school food pantries at Jordan Springs Elementary School. Thank you, also, to David Kelly, a Bright Futures Board Member, for building and delivering the new pantries. We are excited to further support our students and schools with increased food access, helping all students be ready to learn.
