Kiki Flammang placed 1st in the Senior division in the Texas 4-H Beekeeping Essay Contest!

🐴 Hays County Horse Families – Friendly Reminder! 🐴
Texas 4‑H Horse Validation for the 2026 season is now OPEN!
🗓 March 1 – May 1, 2026
✅ All validations are completed in Texas Show Pass
🔔 Don’t forget:
• All horses must be validated every year
• Horses are now family validated – all eligible 4‑H members on your family profile may show them
• Photos required (front, left side, right side)
• Lease horses and futurity horses must be validated by May 1
• Credit card payment only
💲 Validation Fees:
• March 1 – April 15: $10 per horse
• April 16 – May 1: $20 per horse
• Late (May 1–5): $250 per horse
👉 Validate early to avoid higher fees and last‑minute issues!

It’s time to get your 2026 State Fair & HOT Swine tags ordered! Below are the deadlines and fees for this year’s validation period:

🧵 Denim Basket Project Day!
This will be an all‑ages, hands‑on sewing project where we’ll use denim jean legs to create denim baskets with boxed corners on the sewing machine. After sewing, youth can use hot glue to add embellishments and make their baskets uniquely their own — a perfect Duds to Dazzle practice project 😉

We also wanted to share that this will be our final project group meetup for the year. We hope everyone can join us for this fun and creative wrap‑up activity!
