Please join our staff at Edwards Funeral Home as we offer our sincerest condolences to the family of Mrs. Janet G. Clemmons (86) of Wilson, NC. Mrs. Clemmons passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2026 at her home. Her funeral will take place at 1 pm on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Evening Light Holiness Church, 208 S. Pender St., Wilson, NC 27893. Pastor Dianne Dew will be the eulogist. The family will assemble at 12 noon at the residence for the processional to the church.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, September 5th from 12 - 1 pm prior to the service at the church.

Please join our staff at Edwards Funeral Home as we offer our sincerest condolences to the family of Mr. Charles Oscar Banks, Jr. (81) of Winterville, NC, formerly of Wilson, NC. Mr. Banks passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at his home. His funeral will take place at 1 pm on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (805 Nash St. SE, Wilson NC 27893). Reverend H. Maurice Barnes will be the eulogist. The family will assemble at 12:45 pm at the funeral home for the service. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery at 1717 Bishop LN Forbes Lane, Wilson NC.

A public viewing will be held Monday, July 27th from 12 -1 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
