1 year of being WOMEN OWNED. Happy International Women's Day!
It is International Women’s Day and MedicalPeople Staffing has some exciting news!
On a day that recognizes the cultural, social, political, and economical achievements of women around the world, we knew today was the perfect day to announce that we are officially a New York State Women-Owned Business Enterprise!
From the day MedicalPeople opened, we have done our best to support women around Western New York and across the US to not only find employment opportunities but achieve their dreams by advancing in their careers.
Women were disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic this past year. As a team we focused our efforts on finding employment opportunities that offered flexibility to women who needed to return to the workforce but also had to work around their increasingly complicated caregiver roles at home.
We want to say how incredibly inspired we are by all our women employees who have been on the frontlines of COVID-19 and continue to help the community day after day, in addition to their roles at home of being a mother, wife, daughter, and caregiver.
MedicalPeople promises to support women around the country in their employment dreams and to do our part to build a world that questions stereotypes and challenges biases.
