I have been diagnosed with hydrosphalus and will be moving my job orders to other recruiters temporarily. As always, I will still screen and qualify candidates. I am down but not out. I'll be back 3-4 weeks after surgery. It is brain surgery, but success ratio is very high and should bring me back to normal. I appreciate your business over the years and look forward to working with you again.

25 Years of Serving Agri-Business

For a quarter of a century our recruiters have seen a multitude of successes placing industry experienced plant breeders, product managers, sales and agronomy managers, as well as executives all the way up the company ladder. We are proud to serve agri-business.

Our humble beginning started as Management Recruiters of Williamsburg, focused on seed corn breeders due to a major foundation seed supplier in Williamsburg that brought many breeders to our town. We moved to Iowa City September 11, 2001, to expand into other areas within the plant science industry and added more account executives. We moved back to Williamsburg in 2016 to get closer to home and will remain here.

As Management Recruiters of Iowa City evolved, we have had the great fortune to serve many parts of the Agri-Business industry. We've long been at the forefront of the seed business and have been fortunate to work with industry leaders in crop protection, machinery, plant science and many other niche components of the industry.

We work with many candidates that have been on the other side of the desk doing the interviewing. Having interviewed people for many years actually doesn't prepare them for the reverse role of being the interviewee. There is plenty of free information on line and from other sources including libraries. Every candidate sent to a job interview by our office is provided with our Interviewing Handbook and detailed supplements on Behavioral Based Interviewing. We provided forms that will help organize your thoughts when asked to recall a particular example from your past. The thought is; to think things through when you aren't under the stress of an interview. And if your write it down you are more likely to remember.

Management Recruiters of Iowa City will send you our Interviewing Hand book as a courtesy. There are hundreds of ideas and proven steps that should help you through the toughest interview. Just call our office and we will e-mail that information directly to you. Keep in mind, if you only get one good idea from this information, it was worth the price.

Many candidates can interview well - but that doesn't necessarily mean they're the right person for the job. There are ways that you can improve your company's interview process to get a better sense of whether or not a candidate will be the right fit.

One month ahead of the December meeting of the Federal Reserve and just four days before the U.S. presidential election, the employment report for October looked stable.

The U.S. economy added 156,000 jobs in September, according to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Although total nonfarm payroll was down 11,000 from August and fell slightly short of economist forecasts, the job market is holding steady.
