Today, Wilkes County EMS would like to recognize two team members who play an essential role behind the scenes in helping keep our organization operating smoothly, Tammy and Terri, our Administrative Assistants.

While many members of our organization serve on the front lines of patient care, Tammy and Terri are instrumental in supporting the day-to-day operations that help make that care possible. Their dedication and attention to detail ensure that important processes continue to run efficiently and effectively.

They serve as the primary point of contact between many of the patients we serve and our ambulance billing service, helping guide individuals through questions and concerns while providing exceptional customer service along the way. Through their efforts, they help maintain high standards of quality assurance for billing information, helping ensure accuracy and allowing patients to receive the maximum benefit available through their insurance coverage.

For many individuals, Tammy and Terri serve as the front door to our organization, creating a positive experience through professionalism, compassion, and a willingness to help. Their commitment to serving both our patients and our team often takes place behind the scenes, but the impact of their work is felt throughout the entire organization.
