McConnell AFB Military and Family Readiness is introducing an opportunity for civilians to build community with service members new to the Air Force through the Home Away From Home program.

The goal of Home Away From Home is to help new service members feel more connected to Wichita and the local community. Through this program, participants are matched based on assessments that identify shared interests, lifestyles, and preferences. Whether it's game nights, local sports, or exploring Wichita’s attractions, you’ll decide together how and when to connect with your service member.
