Celebrating the First Graduates of Heroes MAKE America’s A&P SkillBridge Program in Wichita, KS! On April 14, Heroes MAKE America launched its first-ever 6-week Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) SkillBridge program in Wichita in partnership with WSU Tech and with the generous support of Textron Aviation. Today, we proudly recognize the nine dedicated airmen from McConnell AFB who have completed this intensive training.

Designed to prepare transitioning service members for the FAA A&P certification, this program strengthens pathways to high-wage, high-demand careers in aviation maintenance and .

Half of this cohort will soon transition out of the Air Force, some remaining in Wichita and others relocating, bringing critical skills and certifications to employers nationwide. The remaining graduates will continue to serve, using their training to mentor others and reinforce the pipeline of talent for the aviation industry and the U.S. Armed Forces alike.

To our graduates: Congratulations on this milestone and all that lies ahead.
