🌟 June Staff Spotlight: Teri Blackman 🌟

This month, we're excited to highlight Teri Blackman, our Accounting Technician II! Teri will celebrate 14 years with the Health Department on July 23rd, and we are grateful for her dedication and service to our organization.

When asked what she enjoys most about her job, Teri shared that it's the people she works with and the individuals she comes in contact with each day. Her positive attitude and ability to connect with others make her a valued member of our team.

A fun fact about Teri is that she gets along with everyone she meets! Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her grandson, Sterling, who is her pride and joy.

All Columbus County Health Department locations will be closed in observance of Memorial Day (5/25/26). We will reopen at 8 AM on Tuesday, 5/26/26.

Columbus County Government offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day.

As we honor and remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on their sacrifice. 🇺🇸

County offices will reopen on Tuesday, May 26, during normal business hours.

🌸 Reminder: Roots of Resilience: Tribal Women Rising is happening TOMORROW! 🌸

Come out and join us as we proudly support the Waccamaw Siouan Tribe during this special community event focused on resilience, wellness, self-care, and empowerment. 💕
