The Westchester-Putnam Career Center Network is dedicated to connecting Westchester and Putnam job-seekers to area businesses who need a skilled workforce. It is guided by The Westchester-Putnam Workforce Development Board to provide an environment where job seekers and employers interact to meet the needs for a highly qualified regional workforce. The WPWDB seeks to strengthen partnerships with b

usiness sectors, service providers and the public education system to offer career services and various training modalities to youth and adults. Seeking innovative solutions driven by regional business needs, WPWDB develops model programs, pursues funding opportunities, and shares leading edge practices. The One-Stop Career Centers are physical locations that provide resources and services to job-seekers to assist in their job search and development and or career change. The centers are staffed by a wide cross section of staff drawn from the one stop centers partnering agencies. The centers offer a wide range of services and state-of-the-art equipment that is used to train customers to fit into the future workforce. The WPCCN website received a dramatic facelift and internal overhaul that not only brings a clean, contemporary look, but updated functionality that allows career center staff to work more efficiently. Thank you to the Westchester County DoIT team for their development and design expertise. The new launch meets the ADA compliance standards required by the federal government, adds extra security measures to protect personal data, and provides an improved user experience when visiting the calendar, workshops, news, and resource pages.

It is with great sadness that we remember Elizabeth L. Wilde, who tragically passed away on June 11, 2026.

Elizabeth was a valued team member, where she served in the Finance Department at the White Plains Career Center. Respected by her colleagues, she was known not only for her dedication and attention to detail, but also for her kindness, humility, and willingness to help others.

A graduate of Mercy College and Pace University, Elizabeth built a distinguished career in accounting and auditing while leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to work with her.

Elizabeth is survived by her devoted husband, Peter, and her loving family. She will be deeply missed by her colleagues, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
