I was recently contacted by an Abington resident looking to have her very well lived in house cleaned
This was a tough house because it was 10 rooms, to include five bedrooms and three full bathrooms
With an Extra large kitchen, living room, & dining room area… and cats
Creating a cat hair explosion

I started on the second floor
To include two full bathrooms, one with the whirlpool bath tub, standup shower and double sink
This house had not been cleaned in some time as the kids have moved out to college

I used ZEP bathroom tile cleaner to remove residual shampoo, stains in one of the shower stalls
Cleaned all the bathroom vanities,
Bathroom mirrors to include the vanity, light bulbs
And ceramic tile flooring
Dusted down all the walls and baseboards

Cleaned the marble counter tops throughout the kitchen

To include some small appliances,
Stainless steel microwave inside and
Stainless steel refrigerator
And hanging light fixtures

Dusted down the massive wall shelving that circled the livinging room , and also the fireplace mantle
Cleaned the inside white windowsills that were covered with dust and grime with the help of magic eraser brought them back to original white and also the light switches and touch spots on all the white doors and door trims and also dusted off 3 extra large ceiling fans

Vacuumed the upstairs carpeting, in all five bedrooms
And also
The carpeted staircase
vacuumed all the hardwood flooring throughout the main floor of the house and went over it with a thorough floor washing throughout
This house was in desperate need of 7 hours of cleaning and attention to detail

Last week I was contacted by a Weymouth resident to do a move in cleaning in South Weymouth ...even on my vacation time from working at the hospital , I was happy to go in armed with all my equipment

Main issue
THE DOG HAIR left behind by the former home owners.

I started in the kitchen
Wiping out all the
Cabinets inside and out
Granite Counters
Fridge inside & out
Stove
Microwave
Dishwasher
I moved onto the main living areas
To include the built in wall shelving and the glass doors.
Dusting down all the walls top to bottom
Whipping down the window sills and window Sachs
All the light switch's, ceiling fan blades,
Door handles, and all major touch points
Two full bathrooms to include
Tub and shower stalls and inside the upper and lower vanity's, & mirrors and light fixtures
Came in with my super powerful shark vacuum, then finished it off with a thorough floor washing through out

A little bit about me :
I started this business a little over 15 years ago when my children were small and I needed flexibility in a job , so that I could choose my own hours that would also allow me to be home with my kids while they were in grade school. I spent alot of years promoting my business , my people skills, and my domestic talents of house cleaning & organizing
I have traveled all over the South shore from Kingston , to Braintree , from Hull Cohasset, and Scituate , to Marlboro Bridgwater, Abington , Taunton , to Canton & Dedham and beyond . in doing that I have met so many wonderful family's and Express House Cleaning became very popular

A little bit about the business, and the services I provide

Pet Friendly : in 2016 I completed a 60 hour certificate course for Veterinary Assistant / Technology at Massasoit Community College , as I also worked part time at Animal rescues , and veterinary Hospitals, so if you have pets in the home , they are absolutely safe with me while I clean

In 2020 I officially licensed the Express House Cleaning Business out of Weymouth Town Hall as that is the town grew Up in, and I live In!

1) Just like any other business we have our slow times and also our share of competition: and that's ok
2) as the business owner, I do all the house cleaning jobs my self, why? Because that allows me to keep my prices reasonable and family friendly, and I do not have to pay 3 or 4 employees to go into a home , I made a decision to do that, so that level of saving gets passed directly on to the customer to keep the cleaning jobs affordable for everyone to use and enjoy
As for the slow times and competition , and over the years it did / does tent to impact my income, and my ability to sustain the business, which forces me to seek alternate employment
That being said . For 3 years
I have been officially employed at South Shore Hospital working in the Environmental Services department full time
From 3 pm to 11 pm cleaning all discharged rooms throughout the hospital departments,
That said
I had to limit my business hours of operation and my work load at EHC

They are as follows
9 am to 1 pm for move in / move out cleanings
One time only cleanings.
Post construction cleaning.

Unfortunately I'm no longer providing return service for weekly or bi weekly cleaning as the business now runs on part time hours

Last week I was contacted by a customer/ Quincy resident who just had their entire newly purchased home remodeled
From new cabinets
To fresh paint
Bathroom sinks and vanity's &
Windows
Kitchen counters , and appliance
And the big thing
All the flooring replaced .. as you can imagine it left a thin layer of construction dust on everything through out the home
Preventing them from moving in

Today I went in , spent 4 1/2 hours dusting everything from ceiling to floor
Yes even the bran new installed polished metal towel racks
And toilet paper holders

Upper and lower window sills
All baseboard heaters
Double fireplace glass & screen insert
2 full baths and 1 half bath
2 staircases
To also include a fished basement and tile floors
The house is now 99.9% dust free and the family can move in
