HAPPY LABOR DAY! - CTA proudly wishes everyone a Happy Labor Day today! This national holiday recognizes the tremendous contributions of American workers who, through the union's they formed, helped change the way our country views its workforce, allowing for economic freedom and liberty. The 40-hour work week, paid sick leave, and safer working conditions are just a few of the monumental improvements for workers. Today we encourage everyone to rest, relax with family and friends, and reflect on these and other positive improvements that would not have been possible without a dedicated and resilient workforce.
