Throughout the companies of The Fedcap Group, of which we are a member, we serve those with barriers to economic well-being - starting in childhood so that children can grow up meeting their full potential. With that in mind, if you're planning Halloween festivities for children, or hosting trick-or-treaters, our colleagues from Easterseals in Texas spoke with their local CBS affiliate last year about ways to ensure all the trick-or-treaters in your neighborhood can join the fun.

From ghosts to goblins to gooey treats, it's no mystery why Halloween is such a popular holiday, but it can sometimes be a little tricky for children with special needs.

Our colleagues at ReServe Health Initiatives will be joining many other NYC and Bronx community organizations at the 37th Annual Bronx Halloween Parade! If you're in The Bronx on Saturday, October 22, see the parade from Southern Blvd. & Westchester Ave. heading South on Southern Blvd turning right onto Intervale Ave & concluding at Dawson St.

This community-based event is heading into its 37th year and is a safe space for all children and adults to enjoy Halloween festivities. The parade, now deemed a city-wide event, has already been considered the second largest Halloween Parade in New York City.

After the parade, guests will gather at Bill Rainey Park to enjoy an artist showcase featuring celebrity guest hosts, politicians, local artists, marching bands, costume contest with cash prizes and distribution of candy for all children!
