Hi, we have a fantastic, unique job to share with you! A young man with autism needs a full-time, live-out assistant/companion/friend, in the Calabasas area. He has limited verbal ability and uses a touchpad to communicate. He needs some bathroom help and medication monitoring; he has epilepsy and OCD. The family is undergoing a complete house remodel with an eye to making things easier for him.

Most importantly, we’re looking for a peer (active, wants to go to gym, hiking, travel, museums, outings); someone SMART. He is very bright and intuitive and wants someone he can engage with. Autism experience is a plus but not crucial; parents will teach everything necessary, but it must be someone excited to learn. You will need a passport- he loves Paris. 😊

The hours are flexible, but they will guarantee 40 hours per week Mon-Fri and would like someone who can do occasional nights/weekends as well as travel. They have 2 cats in the home. ⭐Beverly Hills and Orange County: Busy, high-profile family with two preschoolers is looking for a full-time Nanny/Family Assistant in a fully staffed home. 40 hours per week guaranteed, Monday to Friday, plus travel about 4 weeks per year with the family and occasional weekend help. 3 days per week in Beverly Hills and 2 days in OC (the family pays extra for the additional commute); someone who lives in between the two locations would be ideal. Starting ASAP, $35-50/hr DOE.

⭐Teacher in Hollywood area: One elementary-aged and one middle schooler need a tutor/teacher/nanny. Hours are mainly in the afternoons Mon-Fri, with flexibility to stay later and travel with the family as needed. Must be dog-friendly and have some background in teaching older children as well as full-time nanny experience. Generous weekly salary will be guaranteed even when you work fewer than 40 hours. Must have at least 10 years of nanny experience including with preemie babies; seeking someone warm, calm, and mature. No travel is needed and the family doesn’t have any pets. They will have a housekeeper for deep cleaning but would like the nanny to help with day-to-day maintenance like dishes and laundry as well as cooking for the children. They have a nanny car, so you won’t need to use your car for work.
