Lab Technician – Perfect for new graduates

We are currently recruiting direct hire positions that are perfect for recent grads with science degrees.

The Entry Level Lab Technician will be responsible for a variety of tests to support a products platform for a consumer products company. You will learn to testing for product and/or R&D support.

Responsibilities:
Work with research scientists to support research and production, assess raw material changes, and develop next generation products.
Follow SOP’s and use various types of lab equipment and instrumentation – e.g., mass spec, GC, balances, pH meters, mixer/agitators, homogenizers, and milling equipment.
You will be trained to properly conduct tests specific to the lab you are assigned to on samples and/or chemicals.

Trained on proper documentation techniques into the lab software program

You will be working closely on a daily basis with Sr. Scientists and experienced lab supervisors to learn how the data you are discovering is put to use in the real world each day

Classroom or on the job experience with laboratory testing techniques (Chemistry, Biology, Environmental, Zoology)

Requires basic laboratory skills (such use of balances, gram and pound conversion, yield accounting, equipment operation, pipetting, stability) in addition to job specific skills you will be taught

Ability to constantly be learning new SOP’S

Maintaining material and sample inventories

Cleaning Lab

Respiratory Therapists
Prestige Technical Services is currently recruiting for Respiratory Therapists in Ohio. We have openings in Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati. Different shifts are available including some days shifts. These are very high paying contractor openings in a hospital setting. These positions can be assumed by travelers and local Registered Therapists. Please apply today.

Respiratory therapists typically do the following: Interview and examine patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. Consult with physicians to develop patient treatment plans. Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity.

Respiratory Therapists are responsible for providing therapy that may involve treating diseases, infections, or viruses of the cardiopulmonary system, such as lung cancer, asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, and pneumonia. RTs may also provide life-saving care to trauma patients of all ages from infants to senior citizens.

Job Requirements
Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist

Prefer 1-year experience in a hospital or urgent care setting

Familiarity with EPIC
