Forklift Operator (Crown) – Cold Storage
Location: Brown Deer, WI
Pay Rate: $19–$21/hour
Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd Shift
Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to support warehouse operations in a cold storage environment. This role requires operating Crown forklifts to safely move, store, and retrieve product while maintaining productivity and accuracy standards.
Responsibilities
Operate Crown stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product in cold storage areas
Pick and put away product according to warehouse locations and orders
Perform material handling tasks while meeting productivity and accuracy goals
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety, food safety, and company policies
Work in cold temperatures for extended periods (PPE provided)
Requirements
Prior forklift experience required (Crown equipment preferred)
Comfortable working in a cold storage environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and operate equipment throughout shift
Basic math and inventory skills
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable attendance and ability to work 10-hour shifts
Warehouse or distribution experience preferred
