We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

Responsibilities

Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
Test operation of machines periodically
Fix issues that might occur during the shift
Skills

Proven experience as a machine (lathe) operator
Welding experience required!
Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
Understanding of production procedures
Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
Analytical skills
Attention to detail
Teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina and strength
Must pass background check and drug screen.

One of the fastest growing companies serving the oil and gas industry and headquartered in Fort Worth, TX is looking for CNC Machinists to set up CNC Machines and operate the mills and lathes!

There are positions available for Day Shift (6am - 2pm) and Night Shift (5am - 5pm).

Night Shift works on a modified work week:

2 on/2 off
3 on/2 off
2 on/3 off
This gives Night Shift a 3 day weekend every second weekend and 36 hours one week (paid 40) and 48 hours the next.

Day Shift is currently working a Monday - Friday schedule (6am - 2pm) with overtime available.

Day/Night shift pay is $21-$25/hour (DOE).

**Night Shift gets $1.75/hr shift differential.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Setup tools and fixtures per each job.
Load Programs as required.
Measure parts and affect appropriate tools.
Perform basic maintenance of CNC machines.
Basic computer skill use.
Perform other tasks as instructed by bit documentation.
Follow all safety and quality policies.
Perform other shop duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a machinist.
Able to read and understand blueprints and measuring devices.
Must be able to pass a forklift operator test.
Good physical ability, finger dexterity, and visual acuity.
Able to operate an acetylene and oxygen torch are a plus.
Ability to operate typical shop tooling and hoists.
Able to bend, stoop, sit, and walk.
Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work overtime is a plus.
High School Diploma or GED
