The FMA Safety Award of Merit honors companies that achieved an injury and illness incidence rate at least 10% better than the BLS industry average for 2025. Good job team!

These kids are our future! Ludlow participates in a local high school's "Give Me 10" program where students come into our facility to work, learn, and get hands-on experience for 10 hours a week for 6 weeks. Because of our program support, we have been nominated for T.E.C.H Industry Partner of the Year at the Tech Campus in Grays Lake. Winners for the award will be announced later this year. We are so proud to be part of a group of nominees who support the next generation.

Tour time! Ludlow was happy to have students from Waukegan High School’s Sparkforce Camp in to learn about all the things we do with metal. Students said their favorite was the lasers and robotic CNC machines. We proudly supported Waukegan’s Spark program by providing all the materials they needed for camp.

At Ludlow, we continue to update our methods by seeking out the newest technologies and processes; all with the goal of servicing our clients better.

These are a few of the technologies we have added recently. The robotic track welder (top) will perform a variety of welding tasks with high precision and efficiency. Our machining department has added two robots, who will operate at high speed with quick tool changes and precision machining. We thank all our employees who are working hard to install and integrate these automated technologies into our processes.
