🔔 We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support CNC machining operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems.

Maintenance Mechanic 📍 Lake Zurich, IL
2nd shift — DIRECT HIRE — Great Benefits
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 hourly (willing to pay more based on experience)

Requirements:
✔Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
✔Experience maintaining CNC machining centers; experience with Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Fanuc, or similar controls preferred.
✔Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
✔Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
✔Experience using diagnostic and precision measuring tools.
✔Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
✔Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:
◾Troubleshoot and repair CNC machining centers, including spindles, axis drives, tool changers, coolant systems, hydraulic components, and related equipment.
◾Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
◾Diagnose machine alarms and equipment failures using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
◾Maintain facility support equipment such as compressors, pumps, coolant systems, and chip handling systems.
◾Assist with machine installations, relocations, and equipment upgrades.
◾Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
◾Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout requirements and proper PPE usage.
