General information

The goals of the A*NPRC program are for members to: • Engage in Community Disaster/Emergency Preparedness Education and provide disaster and emergency preparedness presentations, training and information to underserved communities. • Respond to local and national disaster incidents through the DSHR and local/regional disaster response systems. • Recruit and support American Red Cross disaster preparedness and response volunteers, with a focus on recruitment of youth volunteers or ethnically diverse volunteers. • Develop an ethic of service, as well as personal and professional skills of AmeriCorps members during their term of service with the American Red Cross.
