Praxis Engineering has had a great deal of recent success out of our Virginia office obtaining 'work' that presents opportunity for contributing to and having an impact on. A lot of work is in big data (breaking it down, administering, managing)
About as close to the mission as possible without going into the the field
Technologies include: Linux, JAVA, Hadoop, Cloud IaaS, PaaS (will be moving to the cloud), Amazon AWS/Microsoft Azure, Bash, Python, Powershell, Apache, HTTP, C, C++, Ruby, TCP/IT, routing, firewalls, SSH, VPN, WMWare, Cisco & Juniper Networking

Reverse engineering/Cyber Development
Developing new cybersecurity capabilities involving analog and digital domains
Includes some mobile work (laptop, CPU, thin client, PC desk type server, raspberry pi, android, iOS)
Smaller sized team, will work with other Praxis employees
Technologies include: C, C++, C #, Python, Bash, Tcl, Linux, Java, Javascript, networking, FPGAs, Mobile Platforms, MCU

Tyson's (will eventually move to Chantilly)
Will accept TS for developer if candidate is willing to upgrade to TS/SCI w/poly
Mainly looking for Java developers, occasional DBA, Desk Officer, Tester, Field Engineer, or Analyst
Biometrics project designing and developing new features in support of a mission-critical system -- very dynamic development environment
Close-knit Agile/Scrum team where independent contribution is valued
Technologies include Java, Spring, Hibernate, jQuery, Spring MVC, Struts, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Linux, Grails, Mule, Groovy, Gradle, Python, Perl,

Staffing needs change frequently (Developer, Tester, etc.)
A mix of development and O&M work, including support to management, CDL operations, system/software maintenance, system/user support, and system enhancements
Also working on cloud migration, social media, info sharing, and next generation frameworks
Very independent environment, great opportunity for a "self-starter"
Agile environment, possibly Waterfall in the future
Technologies include: Ruby, Groovy, Java backend development, Palantir, Marklogic, Selenium, Jenkins, Subversion, possible C2S in future
