Morning Prayer & Affirmation — Tuesday, October 6

Good morning. Before the phone, before the to-do list, before the worries get a word in, take one quiet breath and remember: you woke up today on purpose.

TODAY'S AFFIRMATION
Today I rise in grace. His mercies are new this morning. I am not carrying yesterday. I am loved, I am guided, and I have everything I need for the day in front of me.

MORNING PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of this new day. Thank You for breath in my lungs and another chance to do good. Go before me in every conversation, every decision and every mile I travel. Give me patience where I am tested, courage where I am afraid, and a kind word for everyone I meet. Watch over my family and keep them close to You. Let the work of my hands honor You today. In Jesus' name, Amen.

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY
"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." — Psalm 118:24

Today the Church also remembers St. Bruno, who found God in silence. Take even one quiet minute today and let Him meet you there.

If this blessed you, type AMEN and share it with someone who needs a little light this morning. 🙏

🪞 THE MIRROR TRICK: How I learn any K-pop dance 3x faster

Real talk: I used to turn the wrong way in EVERY tutorial. Left was right, right was left, and by the chorus I was totally lost. 😅

Here's why: when a dancer faces you, their left is your right. Your brain spends half its energy flipping the moves instead of learning them.

So I started using what I call The Mirror Trick 👇

1️⃣ Mirror the video, so it moves exactly like your reflection
2️⃣ Slow it down to 0.5x and learn just 8 counts at a time
3️⃣ Loop the hard part until it feels boring
4️⃣ Speed back up to full tempo
5️⃣ Film yourself side by side with the original and fix one thing per run

Dances to try it on:
💫 Supernatural – NewJeans
🧲 Magnetic – ILLIT
🍭 Strategy – TWICE
⚡ Whiplash – aespa
🖤 JUMP – BLACKPINK
💥 Chk Chk Boom – Stray Kids

What acting taught me: you don't "memorize" a scene, you repeat it until it lives in your body. Dance is the same. Small pieces, lots of reps, zero pressure. 🎬

I use KPop Mirror for this. It mirrors and slows any dance video for you, and it's FREE to try 👉 kpopmirror.com

Which dance should I learn next? Drop it in the comments and I'll post my attempt! 👇
