The CAS exercise allowed the 15th MEU joint terminal attack controllers to enhance integration and standardize tactics, techniques, and procedures across the combined, joint force.

U.S. Marine Corps recruits with Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, participate in a body sparring event at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, July 1, 2024.

Recruits are taught Marine Corps Martial Arts Program techniques that instill basic self-defense that they will execute throughout recruit training during events like body sparring and pugil sticks to help build a warrior ethos and esprit de corps.

A F-35B Lightning II fighter aircraft from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 121 lands on the flight deck of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS America while conducting routine operations.

America, the lead ship of the America Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.

U.S. 7th Fleet is the ’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
