Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of previous purchasing experience in a production environment.
* Experience in sourcing one or more of the following commodities: Fabrications, machined parts, hardware, electrical, and raw material.
* Bill of Materials (BOM) experience.
* Ability to quickly learn and navigate ERP system (Xtuple.) Familiarity with scheduling systems.
* Strong degree of personal initiative, motivation and positive attitude.
* Effective at problem-solving and planning. Able to handle multiple assignments with minimal supervision and appropriate prioritization.
* Strong capability to manipulate data in spreadsheet format.
* Ability to work effectively with others and communicate requirements to those who do not directly report to the position.
* Ability to communicate effectively with various organization departments and management.
* College degree in technical, business, or sourcing related field
