Action Staffing is seeking reliable, hardworking Custodians to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in a school setting. This position plays an important role in ensuring that classrooms, hallways, and common areas are well-maintained for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
•Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas
•Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors (including waxing/buffing as needed)
•Empty trash and recycling containers daily
•Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
•Clean windows, glass, and surfaces
•Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for school events
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent preferred
•Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required
•Ability to operate cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums, etc.)
•Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
•Dependable with good attendance
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
•Comfortable with repetitive tasks and being on your feet for extended periods
