Employee Spotlight
Meet Ashley Whitley. Ashley is the Floor Manager for WorkSource/National Truck Staffing for the Northwest Arkansas region and is a continuous inspiration to our teams, in part due to her leadership and passion.
In 2008, Ashley became the director for a tutoring center, utilizing her Master’s Degree in Management and Organizational Behavior to great effect. Ever aspiring to further her career in HR, she eventually took on a new challenge by working for a local staffing agency, where she learned to wear multiple hats, including payroll, recruitment and marketing.
In 2015, Ashley relocated her family to NW Arkansas, after her spouse received a new opportunity with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. The move proved to be a great opportunity for Ashley too, since shortly afterwards she joined the WS/NTS team as a Staffing Supervisor and was quickly promoted within a relatively quick amount of time. As the NWA Floor Manager, she now assists with overseeing the daily operations of 3 area locations.
According to Ashley, she loves the everyday challenge of her position. She says it feels great when she changes one person's life for the better. Her favorite quote is, “Leadership is not about being the best. [It's] about making everyone else better”.
