Manpower is partnered up with a leading manufacturer of pipe and plastic products and they are looking for Extrusion Operators and Material Handlers to add to their growing team. For these roles, you would bring your previous manufacturing experience to help production goals get met. By moving and guiding pipe through machines and staging for shipping, you will be responsible to keep the line moving through consistent, careful production. What Will You Be Doing:
Extrusion Operator: As an extrusion operator, you will be responsible to independently run all aspects of the PVC extrusion lines ensuring all product meets all specifications
•Utilize measuring tools, including micrometers, caliper, and OD tape
•Measure pipe products, operate and oversee machinery and complete operator paperwork
•Quality checks all pipe product throughout the extrusion process, maintain a clean workspace and adhere to all safety protocols

Material Handler: As a material handler, you will be responsible for packaging product, monitor product for defects, and assist in startup or changeover of products
•Assist with quality control of products while monitoring saw cuts, pipe lengths, bell fits, print line confirmation, chamfer/bevel and reference spacing
•Package finished product in proper crate quantities
•Assist with running of the PVC extrusion lines, move products to new areas as needed and maintain a clean workspace while adhering to all safety protocols

What You Bring to the Job:
•Previous manufacturing or production experience is helpful, but not required
•Good understanding of basic math skills

The Assembler will be responsible for performing a variety of semi-complex and repetitive set-up, prepping and assembly operations.

Duties:
• Perform semi-complex pre-assembly and mechanical assembly operations.
• Perform basic machine set up and maintenance.

• Perform final packing operations and inventory cycle counts.
