🏡 Boost your home’s curb appeal this autumn with these simple, high-impact updates!

As the air gets crisper and the 🍂 leaves begin to change, it’s the perfect time to give your home’s exterior a little extra love.

Whether you are thinking of selling or just want a cozy welcome every time you pull into the driveway, small changes can make a big difference.

Here are a few easy ways to spruce up your home this season:

Freshen up your landscape: Rake up fallen leaves, trim away dead branches, and add a fresh layer of dark mulch to make your plants pop.

Add a warm welcome: Swap out your summer mat for a festive fall doormat and hang a vibrant wreath.

Brighten the entryway: Give your front door a fresh coat of paint and frame it with seasonal containers filled with colorful mums, pansies, or violas.

Create a cozy vibe: Set up an outdoor seating area with a firepit, warm blankets, textured pillows, and string lights to enjoy those chilly autumn nights.

Which of these updates are you tackling first this weekend? Let us know in the comments!

Nobody decides to buy a house from the front step. But they do decide how they feel about it. 🏡

Every showing starts the same way, a buyer standing outside for about thirty seconds while their agent works the lockbox. There is nothing to do but look.

So here is what changed in this one, in order:
A wreath. A doormat layered over a larger rug. Two planters. And a warmer bulb in the porch light.

That is it. No renovation, no stager, no weekend project. Under two hundred dollars and about an hour, and it is the difference between a house that looks lived in and one that looks looked after.

The rest of my list is just as small. Magic erasers, moving labels, four baskets, and the right paint colors. I would rather tell you the cheap things that work than the expensive ones that don’t.

Speaking of which, the paint guide is free this week. Six colors, their codes, and a real room for each one so you can see what they actually do.
Comment PAINT and it’s yours. 🤍

Everyone tells you spring is the time to buy. 🍂

Here's what they leave out: In spring you're bidding against everyone who waited. In October you're one of the only people in the room, looking at sellers who've had all summer to get realistic.

So I put it in writing.
The Fall Buyer's Edge: What to ask for besides a lower price, what fall shows you that summer hides, the six questions to ask at a showing, and the timeline to be in the door before the holidays.

Two pages. Free. Comment EDGE and I'll send it over. 🤍

Thinking about selling in the next year?
🍂 Here's where your money actually goes further. 🍂

WORTH IT:
① Interior paint in a warm neutral
② Updated light fixtures and warmer bulbs
③ Cabinet hardware
④ Landscaping and fresh mulch
⑤ A deep clean and a cleared-out garage

NOT WORTH IT:
① A full kitchen remodel right before you list
② Bold custom tile
③ New flooring in every room
④ Built-in electronics
⑤ Anything you'd be picking out for the next owner

The pattern is simple: Buyers pay for how a home feels the first ten seconds. They rarely pay you back for a project you finished two weeks before the photos.

If you want the room-by-room version, comment REFRESH and I'll send you 'The Refresh List'. And, if you're within a year of selling in Summerville, DM me, I'll tell you honestly which of these your house actually needs. 🤍
