Ambassador Personnel is hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician in Lanett, Alabama to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment while helping ensure safety, efficiency, and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, PLC troubleshooting experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
This is a 1st shift position, Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with overtime on Fridays as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing pneumatic systems, electrical wiring, conduit and control systems, AC/DC motors, transformers, relays, panels, and PLC-controlled equipment. The Maintenance Technician will also perform preventative maintenance, support equipment changeovers and production operations, maintain service records, troubleshoot issues, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training.
Candidates should have strong knowledge of electrical and control systems, the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints, PLC troubleshooting and repair experience, solid mechanical troubleshooting skills, basic computer skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role, a technical degree/certification in Electrical or Industrial Maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience is required. Manufacturing experience is preferred, while forklift certification and tool maker skills are a plus.
