RebootTalent

RebootTalent Whatever the reason for your career break, RebootTalent helps you find work that aligns with your path. We are saying that we have a plan for changing this.

Reboot connects companies with diverse and under-represented returning talent across domains. We believe that Gap Years are Gain Years as one learns so much outside the premise of work which eventually adds to one’s experience and skills. Reboot Talent understands that getting back to work post a career break is difficult. It requires more effort to restart and become career ready. We are here to

give the returning talent not only the necessary moral support, but also provide them with relevant resources, they will also have access to mentorship by industry experts and they can be a part of a community of returners because their experience and voice matters. Diverse and returning talent have been traditionally under-represented. And we are calling on everyone’s collective will to implement it. We connect companies with diverse and under-represented returning talent across domains like tech, professional, creative, engineering, clinical research, call center, office and so much more. Equality results from taking equitable actions. therefore it is crucial to take action and invest in women's and girls' education, their autonomy, sexual and reproductive rights, and their participation and representation at work, especially in fields historically open and welcoming to men. Addressing the pay gap, discriminatory laws, and the menace of violence against women that has continued unabatedly.

Gender disparities have worsened since the pandemic struck and the devastating global crisis across various parts of the world.

We begin from our homes, we begin wherever we see gender taking precedence to make case for the unjustified treatment of women from every community.

Happy International Women's Day. Let's not forget a lot needs to be done. We are still nearly 300 years away from achieving gender equality.

March brings in Spring and Hope. is a reminder to continue the good work of fighting for equality, justice, and opportunity.

Women were seldom given the stage and mic to share their stories and as the saying goes, "History is written by the victors."

Women's History Month is a redemption, an opportunity to shine a light on such forgotten voices of unsung heroines and trailblazers. The feminists we knew and the ones we never heard of.

As the White House Proclamation on Women's History Month, 2023 reads, "Women continue to lead as advocates for reproductive rights, champions of racial justice, and LGBTQI+ equality. Throughout history, these women have opened the doors of opportunity for subsequent generations of dreamers and doers."

The onus lies on us to educate ourselves about the untold, unheard contribution of women in the upliftment of our nation.

We urge you to visit https://womenshistorymonth.gov/

Black Women's Equal Pay Day this year was on the 21st of September. Black women had to work 263 extra days to achieve white men's pay. This is not only a gender-based wage gap, it is also racial and historical in nature. Black women's work has always been undervalued and many times unaccounted for.

The National Labor Relations Act of 1935, explicitly excluded agricultural and domestic workers, a large proportion of whom were Black.
Over the course of 40 years of full-time work, a Black woman stands to lose almost $1 million compared to the pay of a white man. https://lnkd.in/gdwCWU28

A known fact, the pandemic worsened the existing income inequality. On one hand, the overall women's pay gap shrunk, but that of women of color including Native and Latina women's Equal Pay Day fell behind.

This day is a reminder, a call to action that the existing systems have to be challenged and revamped to meet our goals of inclusion diversity, and equity at work.

If the system is not working for everyone it will eventually stop working for even a handful.
