Public Hearing

The Village of Ubly will hold a public hearing on the proposed Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) 2027 Water Service Line Replacement project for the purpose of receiving comments from interested persons.
The hearing will be held during the regularly scheduled Village Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 7th at the Village/Township Government Center, 2141 Pierce Street, Ubly, MI. 48475.
The purpose of this project is to replace the 68 galvanized water service lines within the Village. This project will allow the Village to comply with the EGLE's Lead and Copper Rule requirements. Impacts will be limited to local lane closures and temporary water shut off during the reconnection of the new services to existing water main.
The total forecasted cost for the project is $750,000. A copy of the draft DWSRF project planning document will be available for public review at the Village Office.
Written comments received before the meeting is closed on May 7th will receive responses in the final project planning document. Written comments should be sent to the Clerk's office at
