At Regal, learning when to say YES is important. Learning when to say NO is too.
Showing up matters.
Being adaptable matters.
Being flexible matters.
But capacity matters too.
Sometimes the right answer is yes.
Sometimes the right answer is no.
And both choices have a cost.
Being part of a modeling organization means learning how to evaluate opportunities, understand your capacity, communicate clearly, and make decisions without needing to fit yourself into someone else’s box.
Are you saying yes because you genuinely want the opportunity?
Or because you’re afraid of missing out?
Before your next opportunity, ask yourself:
Do I have the capacity?
Does this align with where I’m going?
What am I actually committing to?
What’s something you’ve learned about saying “no” that actually helped you grow?
Support three other Regal posts and see what you can learn from someone else’s experience.
