Full Time High School Career Coach Positions Available
$40,000+/year
Academic Year Schedule
1. Lee County School District- Saltillo High School
2. Union County School District- Split assignment: West Union Attendance Center and Myrtle Attendance Center
The CREATE Foundation has authorized two open Career Coach positions for public high schools in Lee and Union Counties, Mississippi. This position will dually report to the School Districts and CREATE for the Spring, 2024 semester.
Career Coach responsibilities will include guidance to define students’ career aspirations, certifications, apprenticeships, and workforce training. Additionally, Career Coaches support students in achieving their educational, career and financial goals while complementing existing school site programs and industry partnerships. The Career Coach will be responsible for documentation of student /parent /community interaction, networking for business partnerships, and additional training prior to and during the school year.
Position Requirements
Career Coach applicants must possess:
• A four- year college degree
• Five+ years of work experience, preferably including teaching experience in a public school
• Local business and professional connections are a plus
