Rise Staffing

Rise Staffing We empower, promote, and support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Rise Staffing, formerly Phoenix Residential Services, Inc.

was founded by Lisa Toth, July 2004. We have held contracts with Oklahoma DHS and the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to provide Home and Community Based Waiver Services for the past 12 years. In July 2016, we obtained a contract with Oklahoma Division of Rehabilitation Services, allowing us to broaden our customer base and provide employment training, placement and support to people served through

OKDRS. Rise Staffing only chooses to hire employees who are hardworking and enjoy working well alongside their co-workers. We create a culture in our company that has transformed our team in several positive ways increasing our belief that it is worth putting in the time to encourage, train and communicate with employees and customers. Communications a two-way street, input from all is crucial for us to succeed with our service placements. We know that failure to respond to employee concerns, makes for unhappy productive employees. We are interested in people enjoying their jobs and contributing to our customer’s success. The management of Rise Staffing does not believe that pay checks should be enough encouragement for employees to do well. We know it is important for employees to make friends in their workplace as this can have a positive effect on their work life, reinforcing positive communication and experiences. This is also likely to strengthen the bond between the team, in a practical way as well as social. Our management team is hands on, meaning we are working in the field with our employees and customers, staffing the situations and learning from each other how to produce successful results. Working together is imperative as each person receiving services from us is unique and their situation is not like the last one. In other words, we will not expect you to fit in the box, but we need your input for out of the box thinking!

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our dear friend, Chuck.

Chuck was a bright light in this world, kind, caring, and always able to bring a smile to those around him. His warmth, friendship, and positive spirit touched so many lives, and his presence will be deeply missed by all of us at Rise Staffing.

We are grateful for the memories we shared and the joy he brought to our lives. Though our hearts are saddened by this loss, we will carry his light with us always.

Rest peacefully, Chuck. You will never be forgotten. 💜

Our thoughts and prayers are with Chuck's family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Interview coming up? Here is one tip that actually helps. 🙌

Practice your introduction out loud before the big day.

Say your name. Say what job you are interested in. Then share one thing you are really good at.

That is it. Three sentences. Practice them with a family member, a friend, or even in front of a mirror. The more you say it, the more natural it feels.

At Rise Staffing, we work through steps like this with every person we coach. Because feeling prepared is the first step to feeling confident.

Interview anxiety is real. Here's what actually helps. 🙌

So many of the people we work with tell us the hardest part isn't finding the job. It's walking through the door for the interview.

We hear you. And we've got four steps that work:

1) Write down 3 things you're good at. Keep that paper with you.
2) Practice your intro out loud. Your name, the job you want, one strength. That's it.
3) Bring a comfort item. A fidget, a photo, whatever helps you feel grounded.
4) Ask for accommodations. You are allowed to do that. Always.

At Rise Staffing, our job coaches walk alongside you through every single one of these steps. You don't have to figure this out alone.

If you or someone you love is ready to work and just needs a little support getting there, we'd love to connect. Call or text us at 918-576-7519, or visit www.risestaffing.net to learn more. 💛

Interview anxiety is real. Here is what actually helps.

Three steps we practice with every client:

1. Write down 3 things you are good at.
2. Practice a 10-second intro. Your name, the job you want, one strength.
3. If you miss a question, ask them to repeat it. That is always okay.

You do not have to have it perfect. You just have to show up.

As I read this rule, it appears to support caregivers—including parent caregivers—but also adds strict work requirements for individuals receiving Medicaid. These requirements could lead to the loss of critical services, including healthcare coverage and funding that supports caregiving.

I’ll be submitting my comments to CMS. With over 40 years of experience in job development for individuals with developmental disabilities, I hope my voice will be taken seriously.

I encourage my friends, colleagues, and anyone who cares about this issue to speak up as well. Please consider submitting your own comments—your voice truly matters, and change happens when we come together.

Interview anxiety is real. Here's what helps. 🙌

So many of the people we work with tell us the same thing: "I know I can do the job. I just don't know how to get through the interview."

We hear you. And we've got a simple plan.

Try this before your next interview:

1. BREATHE. Inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 4. Do it twice. It works.

2. PRACTICE YOUR INTRO. Say your name, the job you want, and one thing you're good at. Practice with a family member or friend until it feels natural.

3. BRING 3 STRENGTHS. Write them down ahead of time. You are reliable. You are focused. You show up. Say it out loud until you believe it.

4. ASK 1 QUESTION. It shows you care. Try: "What does a great day look like in this role?"

You don't have to figure this out alone. Our job coaches walk through every step with you, at your pace, in your way.

Every success story starts with one conversation. 🙌

This is the moment everything changes. A person walks in with a dream, a skill set, and a whole lot of potential that the world hasn't noticed yet. Our team sits down, listens, and gets to work.

That's how Chandler became a beloved greeter at the Tulsa Drillers for 8 years. That's how Griffin earned the Oklahoma Governor's Award for Employee of the Year after 8+ years at the Tulsa Zoo.

Not because someone took a chance. Because someone took the TIME to find the right match.

At Rise Staffing, we believe the right job is out there for everyone. We just help you find it.
