MYTH: Hiring an injury lawyer means paying by the hour.

FACT: The clock isn’t running when you call Green Injury Law.

Most people hear “lawyer” and imagine being charged every time the phone rings. That is not how we handle personal-injury cases.

Consultations are free, and our attorney fee is based on the recovery we obtain—not the number of calls, meetings, or hours spent working on your case. If there is no recovery, there is no attorney fee.

Questions shouldn’t come with a stopwatch. Give us a call and let’s talk about what happened.

The part of this review we appreciate most is that the client remembered both attorneys by name:

“Mike and James were great. Would recommend them to anyone that needed a good injury lawyer.”

At Green Injury Law, personal attention means knowing who is handling your case—and knowing that the attorneys responsible for it know you, too.

We are a small Tulsa firm by design. Our clients work directly with Mike, James, and the team supporting their case from beginning to end.

Thank you to every client who has trusted us and recommended our firm to someone they care about.

A commercial truck crash is not simply an ordinary car crash involving a larger vehicle.

The driver behind the wheel may be only one part of the story. The truck’s ownership, operation, maintenance, loading, and dispatch may involve different businesses—and commercial vehicles may be subject to safety requirements that do not apply to ordinary motorists.

An injured person should not be expected to understand every business relationship or determine who may be responsible before asking for help.

Sorting through those questions is part of our job.

Green Injury Law represents Oklahomans injured in serious commercial-truck crashes throughout Tulsa and across Oklahoma.

🟢 MYTH OR FACT MONDAY 🟢

The nation’s first YIELD sign was installed in Tulsa.

FACT!

In 1950, Tulsa Police Officer Clinton Riggs installed the first “Yield Right of Way” sign at First Street and Columbia Avenue—an intersection considered one of the most dangerous in Tulsa at the time.

The idea was simple: make the right of way clearer, prevent collisions, and make Tulsa’s streets safer.

More than 75 years later, yield signs across the country still carry a little piece of Tulsa history—and the same important reminder.

When a driver fails to yield, the consequences can extend far beyond the intersection.

Green Injury Law is proud to serve the Tulsa community that helped change the way America drives.

A crash is never planned, and neither is the disruption that follows.

Your vehicle may be out of service, but the kids still need to be picked up. Practice still starts on time. Work, appointments, and family responsibilities do not simply stop.

An injury affects more than the person who was hurt. It can disrupt transportation, routines, independence, and an entire family’s daily life.

At Green Injury Law, we take the time to understand what the crash changed, not just what happened at the scene. Let us handle the legal work while you focus on your recovery and your family.

Pedestrians do not have seat belts, airbags, or a vehicle surrounding them. When a person is struck by a car the injuries can be serious and life-changing.

Pedestrian collisions do not happen only in crosswalks. They can occur in parking lots, neighborhoods, driveways, intersections, and alongside the roadway.

If you have been injured as a pedestrian, seek medical attention, report what happened, photograph the area when possible, and preserve the names of any witnesses. The circumstances surrounding the collision may all matter.

During Pedestrian Safety Month, we remind drivers to slow down and remain alert. We also want injured pedestrians to know that they do not have to navigate the aftermath alone.

The Law Office of Michael R. Green, PLLC is available to help injured Oklahomans understand their options.

🚨 MYTH OR FACT MONDAY

MYTH: “I felt fine immediately after the crash, so I must not be injured.”

FACT: Some symptoms may take hours—or even days—to appear or become noticeable.

The moments immediately following a collision do not always tell the entire story. Pain, stiffness, headaches, dizziness, and other symptoms may develop later.

Pay attention to how you feel, and do not ignore new or worsening symptoms. If you have symptoms or concerns following a collision, seek appropriate medical care and explain exactly what happened.

Feeling fine at the scene is good—but it is not a guarantee that everything is fine.

Some of the most important legal questions never arise in a courtroom. They arise in the field, when first responders have only moments to make a decision.

Over the past three days, our own James Holmes had the privilege of providing training to the men and women of the Broken Arrow Fire Department on real-world issues first responders may encounter in the field.

It was especially meaningful for James to spend time with a department and community that have played such an important role in his life.

Thank you to the Broken Arrow Fire Department for the invitation, the thoughtful questions, and the work you do every day for the people of Broken Arrow. We're proud to support those who serve our community.

MYTH OR FACT MONDAY:

“If a delivery driver causes a crash, only the driver can be held responsible.”

❌ MYTH.

A delivery vehicle may display one company’s logo while the driver works for a separate local contractor. The vehicle may be owned by another entity, and different companies may be involved in hiring, training, dispatching, routing, maintenance, or safety oversight.

Amazon, FedEx, and UPS do not all structure their delivery operations the same way. That is why the logo on the vehicle—or the uniform worn by the driver—does not necessarily tell the whole story.

Depending on the facts, potentially responsible parties may include the driver, the driver’s actual employer, the vehicle owner, or another person or company whose conduct contributed to the crash.

Green Injury Law investigates delivery-driver crashes to determine who was involved, what records may exist, and what actually happened.
